Gay Rights versus Christianity.?

I'm all for gay rights. I am also Catholic (for the sake of argument, but I do not practice). The church does not teach that being gay is a choice and it does not say that being gay is a sin. Therefore those who DO say this drivel are lying and are hypocrites. They use their own personal biases and attempt to cover them up with religion.
