How to convince my parents to let me buy UGGS?

Well you are a teen right? so either you are mature or immature, but that doesn't matter. You have money to spend. Well you can NOT just spend money. you have to earn them too. By earning money you show responsibility, as well as you do by saving money. But you have to invest your money on something too. You are not buying things just because you are immature or ignorant, but because you want to have that one thing. You feel proud that you've been able to buy something with your own money. And that's reality. You earn money, you save about 60% of it and spend the other 40% of it on something you want. But if you don't want anything, just save it as well. Your parents have to deal with that you're growing up. Now you have the responsibility over your money. The shoes might be a waste of money for them, but not for you. So what if it turns out they where a waste of money? You would have learned a lesson already, wouldn't you? They have to let you make your own decisions in life. It's not like you want to buy something bad like drugs or cigarettes.
