My parents hate animals, what do I do?

It sounds like you should wait until you are 18 and on your own then you can get your own pets and pay for their care yourself. If your parents think of animals as non-feeling and vicious.. than most likely they are not going to want to pay for their medical care (vaccines, neutering, and any illnesses or injuries they might suffer). It would be best to wait until you can take responsibility on your own as it does not sound like your parents would be willing to and any pet you bring home might suffer at their hands.
